Katelyn
I took Kate to the Dentist yesterday in preparation for her to get braces. She has not been to Dentist since 1st Grade what a bad Mother I am. She had a good report that she has 5 cavities the Dentist rate cavities on a scale 1-100. They rated hers at 20. So we will take care of them  now so later she won't have the problem with them. The dentist told her that she has only one wisdom tooth to come in and that she has no room in her mouth for it. So it will have to come.
The Dentist asked if she likes her smile she said quiet sternly NO!!!

4Th of July Celebration.

We woke up to a overcast sky this morning

thinking will we be rained on.

We went to the Rupert Parade and sat in our usual place to

watch the parade in the shade.

As we sat there waiting for the Parade to start you noticed

the temper start to rise.

From 65's to 70's and 80's by the time the Parade was over it was in the 90's.

With a cool breeze now and then.

Some new things in the Parade this year was the Color guard had a gentlemen playing the bagpipes, the F-10 can from the East went to the West.

They only had 3 Church Floats,

The 5th Ward did Rupert Stakes Float this year it was the Flag.

(I will encluded pictures if they are not too blurry)

Rupert West Stake, Burley Stake.

They had 2-3 different Churches that had bands

playing and singing groups.

They also had only 4 or 5 business floats.

PMT won the Grand Prize for their float again this year.

They had a Mexican Band and the riding group.

They had the Women's Possey.

An interesting entry was the Minidoka Co. School bus is offering

$10 per hour for Bus drivers.

The Garden Cents had a nice float and they were handing out plants, and watermellons.

The parade lasted only an hour.

We can home loaded up the salads and desserts and headed to the Bessire's house for lunch.

Granny came after lunch she went home.

After lunch Kevan and Kate went to the Ball Park so Kate could hit some balls.

It was very hot Uncle Kelly and I went out to get the balls Kate hit in the out field.

We came back to Bessire's and the kids went to King's to get inner tubes to float the River.

(Ashley & Trenton, Kenzie & Trevor, Jake & Kate and Ivy)

They went from Jackson Bridge to Montgomery Bridge.

It took them 2 hrs.

Kevan & I came home and rested.

We went back to Bessire's at 7:30pm. Granny and Grandpa came also.

Grandpa had to work until 7pm.

We ate again and then they had Ping Pong Tournament.

We then did Fireworks came home.

It was amazing how many people were doing illegal fireworks.

The night was filled with bangs, pops, and crackle of fireworks.

It was interesting those who shot off fireworks Sunday night also.
