Summer

The summer is going by so fast.

In June Kate got her braces on her top teeth.
She also has been doing some fun crafting.
She has made a bench for her bedroom.
It is cow spots material.
She is going black and white and pink decorations in her room.

In July Kate went on the Trek in Wyoming.
She had a good experience came home sunburned.
She left early Monday Morning a 2:30 am.
They were back by 5 pm. on Thursday.
We were excepting them home around 9-10 pm.

She went to Carey with her friend Karen to the Parade and float the river.
Once again she came home sunburned.

Kurtis had his girlfriend Melissa came to Idaho for the 4th of July Weekend.
He went to Colorado and meet her family and proposed.

Jacob has been working hard at the shop with his Dad and Kurtis.

As a Family went went to Lagoon and Bee's game in Utah on Friday the 6th.
Sat. we went shopping and came home.
This was are summer vacation.

We have been trying to endure the heat this summer.

I have picked and canned our beans from our garden.
The beans were really good this year.

So far our corn has not blown down yet due to the wind storms.
KNOCK ON WOOD.
Every year are corn blows down. Every year Kevan goes out and stands it back up.

Stetzen was the hit of the 4th of July he entertained us all and kept us laughing.

Aug. is just around the corner.

Katelyn finished softball and had a enjoyable year.
They had their Softball BBQ and handed out awards.
She got an award for Inspirational Player.

This is at the beging of the season at Canyon Rdg. Jamboree.

Her Coach all though she didn't talk much her actions told alot.I hope to down load some pictures of her last game of the season.

This is her last day of being a 9th Grader at Minico. She survived!!

Kurtis got his pickup fixed and back to driving it. His Friend form Vidor Texas and his wife are coming to Rupert and bring all his toys with them.  They are planning a weeks worth of Golfing.

Jacob is working hard at IMCO with his Dad and Kurtis. Kurtis is Jacob's supervisior.

Kevan enjoys golfing with his boys. He enjoys the challenge.

As for me I have kept busy with cleaning, cooking and being a taxi driver for Kate to and home from School.  I am looking forward to her getting her license and being able to drive to school.

May has come and will soon be gone.
I look forward to what these next few months of summer will bring.

These are the flower arrangement that my sister and I did for Mom's and Dad's grave.
We had to redo the arrangement because last year someone stole the pots that the arrangements were in. They were kind enough to leave the flower.  They did not touch the red, white and blue arrangement. I added flag to it this arrangement this year. I think it just makes it look better.

April

Katelyn is on the JV Softball Team for Minico.

She plays 3rd Base.

She has enjoyed playing.

She has had so close calls with balls coming right at her.

She caught one with her bare hand.

She really likes playing 3rd base.

She will go to Orthodontist on May 1st and get the palatial spacer taken out and

braces put on her top teeth.

She has a good space between her two front teeth, which is what is

suppose to happen.

Kurtis bought him a truck.

Jacob returned home from BYU-I Winter semester.

He is working at the shop with his Dad and Kurtis.

Kurtis is Jacob's boss.

I have been busy going to Kate's game and enjoy watch her play.

On the 28th of this month Kevan & I will celebrate our 29th Anniversary.

Jan. 31

Katelyn

We took Kate to Orthodontist.

She will need to have a palatal spacer on the top teeth and have rubber bands

to pull her lower jaw forward.

Feb. 5 th

Kate got her lower spacers for braces on bottom teeth.

Feb. 15 th

Kate got braces on her lower teeth.

She choose pink rubber bands.

March 7th

Kate will get her plaitotoal on her top teeth.

Jan. 2012

Kurtis moved back to Rupert from Vidor Texas.

He and Blake had good weather driving home until they hit Utah.

Just outside of Moab, Utah they hit a white out.

The rest of Utah was just wet road.

They hit the Idaho boarder to find out that they closed the road because of WIND!!

They headed back to Tremonten Utah and came through Pocatello.

They got in around 2 am Sunday morning.

Then they were up and back on the Road to Boise to take Blake to Airport.

To update you on what has been happening in our lives.

Kurtis came home for Christmas on Dec. 16-23. We had a good time having him home.

 JaNae and Zach were here a couple of days while Kurtis was here. Stetzen keeps changing.

                              We had a good Christmas just Kevan and I and Kate and Jacob.

Kate went to the Teen Dance on Year's Eve and stayed and had breakfast there.

She said she had fun.

She had her last dentist appointment on Jan. 2nd.

She has a consultation with the Orthodontist Jan. 31st.

She turns 15 on the 16th of Jan.

Jacob prepared to go back to BYU-I he left on Jan. 3.

His Christmas break consisted of working at the shop with his dad.

Do he would have enough money for college.

Kevan and I had a quiet New Years Eve-we were in bed by 11pm. and missed ringing in the New Year.

We are looking forward to a good New Year.
